Obituary for Roberta �Bilskie� Dailey Roberta �Bilskie� Dailey, 92, of Vincennes, passed away at 2:14 AM Wednesday March 14, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was born February 2, 1920 in Knox County the daughter of George Anthony & Stella Carey Bilskie. She was married to William Robert Dailey on February 11, 1943 and they made their life together for over 69 years. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, the altar society, American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed activities with her family. She is survived by her husband, William R. Dailey, their children, Margaret Kiefer of Vincennes, Cherie Vieke, and her husband John of Vincennes, Gary Dailey, and his wife Lin of Vincennes and Tom Dailey of Vincennes. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren, Lisa & Michael Check, Cheryl & Randy Ashman, William & Kris Frey, John & Robin Vieke, Kelly & Joe Maione, Brian Vieke, Nancy Case, Micki Dailey, Jamie & Adam Lane, Jennifer Dailey, Thomas Dailey, Richard Dailey & Adina Brown, Kevin & Allison Duchac, Rebecca & Boots Sanders and Stephen & Anne Duchac, Anne & Dave Budzius and Greg Kiefer . 30great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, a son in law, David Duchac of Nashville, TN and a sister in law, Ruth Bilskie of Vincennes also survive. She was blessed to have a multitude of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 children, William Robert Dailey Jr, Jerry Sue Dailey and Patricia Duchac (who preceded her on January 12, 2012) and a son in law, Don Kiefer. She was the last of 12 children all of whom preceded her; there were 5 brothers, Victor Bilskie, Austin Bilskie, Clement Bilskie, Joseph Bilskie and Anthony Bilskie, 6 sisters, Emma Bilskie, Cleophas Hubers, Veronica Bloebaum, Philomena Nowaskie, Elizabeth Hennon and Theresa Rodden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday March 17, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. John Catholic Church. Fr. David Fleck will officiate. She will be laid to rest next to her children in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the St. John Building Fund.
