Ruby J. Flenar, 94, formerly of Vincennes, passed away Saturday September 23, 2017 in Terre Haute, IN. Ruby was born November 5, 1922 in Laketon, IN the daughter of Daniel and Hazel Ogden Thompson. She married Donald R. Flenar and he preceded her in death in 1978. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Jill L. Harrison and her partner, Marcus Knight of Sullivan, IN, her grandchildren, Amy Burns, and her husband Butch and Susan Stoltz, and her husband Adam and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a Son in Law, Tom Harvey of Oaktown, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Flenar in 1978, a daughter, Barbara Harvey in 1997 and a son Mark Flenar in 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Gravesite services will be announced at a later date. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
