Obituary for Ruth Ann Jackson Ruth Ann Jackson, 81, of Bicknell, Indiana passed away September 7, 2015 at the Oak Village Nursing Home after a battle with CMML Type 1 Leukemia. She was born June 5, 1934 in Bicknell IN the daughter of Benjamin R. and Viola Bennett Hawk. She was a graduate of Bicknell High School. March 17, 1967, she married Louis Preston Jackson and made their life together until his death on September 5, 1992. Ruth was self employed, cleaning homes and formerly worked at Gossards, Heath Candy Company, RCA, delivered newspapers and worked as a Keypunch Operator for the State of Indiana. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior, whom she gave and lived for first and foremost everyday. She is survived by her children, Wayne A. Smith of Bicknell, IN, Anna M. Fox, and her husband Mike of Oaktown, IN and Andrew L. Jackson, and his wife Teresa of Bicknell, IN. Her grandchildren, Aimee R. Smith and her fiance', Mike Adcock; Samuel "Sam" J.B. Petty, Victoria "Tori" R. Petty and her companion, Tom Bahr; Michael Jason Fox and his wife Jill; Eric Fox and his wife Kelli; Cory Moreland and his fianc�e, Crystal Stegall; Andrea Jackson; Justin Opell and his wife Missy. Her great-grandchildren, Damon Smith; Hannah Ewers; Nathaniel "Nate" Bilby; Tegan Nevaeh Smith; Audrey Bahr; Tucker Bahr; Shyla Fox; Justin Fox; Mason Spangle; Hunter Fox; Blaize Fox; Makenna Fox; Bryley Fox; Kaizen Moreland; Lucy Camarillo and Dakota VanPatton. She is also survived by her brothers, Melvin Hawk, and his wife, Betty of Crossville, TN; Joseph �Joe� Hawk, and his wife Una of Portland, OR; and a sister, Joan Jones of Danville, IN. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Louis P. Jackson, a dear granddaughter, Erin Jaclyn Kay Smith, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Funeral services for Ruth Ann Jackson will be celebrated Friday September 11, 2015 at 3 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Funeral Home in Bicknell IN. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of services. Ruth will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Bicknell Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to the donor�s charity of choice.
