Obituary for Ruth Lorene Cullison Huffman Ruth Lorene Cullison Allen Huffman, 90, formerly of Lyons and Sandborn, IN passed away Saturday November 14, 2015 in Seymour, IN. Born July 18, 1925 in Greene County, IN, she was the daughter of Samuel and Myrtle Sparks Cullison, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Carl, Dale, Gerald, Beatrice and Garnett. She was married to Johnny R. Allen, who preceded her in death in 1979. In 1984 she married Harold Huffman, and he preceded her in death on September 3, 2013. She was a graduate of Lyons High School, and worked for over 27 years at the G.C. Murphy Store in Linton, IN. She attended Bethel Church while she lived in Sandborn, IN, and she enjoyed crocheting various items for her family and friends. She is survived by her son, William L. (Gloria) Cullison of Seymour, IN, a stepson, Stanley (Dixie) Allen of Lyons, IN, grandchildren, Amy (John) Koch, William L. (Karin) Cullison Jr, and step-grandchildren, Jennifer Ashcraft, John (Amy) Ashcraft. Julie (Mason) Flake, Kelli Brown, and Jeffrey (Adrienne) Hughes, and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday November 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons, IN. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of services at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest next to her first husband, Johnny R. Allen, in the Prairie Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Lutheran Community Home, 111 W. Church St., Seymour, Indiana Arrangements entrusted to Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel and the Jenkins Funeral Home.
