Shirley M. “Lamb” DeLisle, 84, of Oaktown, passed away Tuesday March 24, 2020 at Oak Village Nursing Center in Oaktown. Shirley was born July 6, 1935 in Carlisle, IN the daughter of Clifford A and Helen M. Willis Lamb. She was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and she was formerly a Cook Supervisor at the prison in Carlisle, IN. She married Lawrence “Gene” DeLisle on July 8, 1952 and they made their life together for nearly 67 years.

Shirley is survived by her children, Kim Couch, and her husband Jeff of Trenton FL, Toni Marie Garzolini, and her husband Robert of St. Mary of the Woods, IN, and Tracy Gene DeLisle of Oaktown, IN. She was blessed by 4 grandchildren, Laci Foley, and her husband Joey, Brandon DeLisle, and his wife Jessica, Mario Garzolini, and his wife Shay, and Talia Garzolini. Her great grandchildren, Inora Garzolini, Serena Garzolini, Gavin Foley, Ivy Foley, Khalessi Foley, Sawyer Foley, Lilly Foley, Jude Mulkey and Wren DeLisle.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Gene” DeLisle, a daughter, Kelly DeLisle, her parents Clifford A. and Helen M. Lamb.

Due to the current health concerns private funeral services will be celebrated. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and daughter in the St. Vincent Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Heart to Heart Hospice or the Vincennes Pet Port. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist the DeLisle family during their time of loss.
