Obituary for Stefanie E. Bouvy
Obituary for Stefanie E. Bouvy Stefanie E. Bouvy, 75, of Vincennes, IN, passed away Friday June 8, 2012 at 4:55 PM at the New Willow Manor Nursing Center. She was born June 29, 1936 in Purjavoz, Yugoslavia, the daughter of Johan and Marcella Wojeck Kufner. She was interred in concentration camp during WW II in Kempton, Germany and she came to the U.S. in 1950. She and her family was sponsored by the Robert Dora family for emigration to the U.S. She was a graduate of St. Rose Academy and was a homemaker and worked at Bell Insurance. She retired from the Vincennes City Clerk/Treasurer Office after over 30 years of service to the City. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, the K of C Auxiliary and she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son�s, John Bouvy, and his wife Tracy of Vincennes, Ralph Bouvy Jr, and his wife Michelle of Plano, TX and Michael Bouvy of Washougal, WA, and her grandchildren, Brittney Bouvy, A.J. Bouvy, Curtis Bouvy and Greg Bouvy. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Katie Kahre, and her husband Frank of Vincennes and Anne Jasso, and her husband Gil of Rock Ledge, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Kufner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday June 13, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. David Fleck officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home.
