Obituary for Vickie (Hunckler) Meier Vickie Hunckler Meier, 86, of Vincennes, passed away Thursday May 24, 2012 at the New Willow Manor at 9:30 PM. She was born November 12, 1925 in Vincennes the daughter of Frank W. & Louise Heines Hunckler. She was a 1943 graduate of Lincoln High School and was a member of St. John Catholic Church. She worked as office manager for Harold�s and J.C. Penny. She married Harry Meier and he preceded her in death in 1995. She is survived by her daughter, Carla Lammers Doolen, and her husband Stephen of Vincennes, IN., her grandchildren, Jennifer Lammers of Denver, CO, Joshua Lammers of Orlando, FL and Heather Teske, and her husband David of Bloomington, IN. 3 great grandchildren, Ethan Teske, Emily Yeargin and Abigail Yeargin, 2 brothers, E. Joe Hunckler and Ralph Hunckler both of Vincennes and a sister Bertha West of Stuart, FL also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brothers, Vincent Hunckler, Francis �Bud� Hunckler, Robert Hunckler and Raymond Hunckler. Her sisters, Loretta Miller and Vi Laakman also preceded. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held Monday June 11, 2012 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with a remembrance to start at 6:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until the time of service. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to St. John Catholic Church.
