Obituary for Virginia Ginny Gibbons Davis Linn
Obituary for Virginia �Ginny� Davis Linn Virginia S. �Ginny� Davis Linn, 59, of Vincennes, IN, passed away Saturday September 13, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was born January 16, 1955 in Portsmouth, VA the daughter of William Lee & Rose Marie Kuntz Gibbons. She was a graduate of Rivet High School and worked in various factories in the area. She formerly was a member of St. John Catholic Church, a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed her family, the outdoors, music and dancing when she could. She enjoyed sharing whatever she had with her family and friends to help anybody she could. Giving what she could was a commitment not just words. She is survived by her children, Brandon Davis of Wheatland, IN, Heather Davis and her partner Steve Allison of Hutsonville, IL and Darren Davis of Vincennes, IN. Her grandchildren, Aidan Davis, Jaydaia Davis and Lillian Davis. Her sisters, Linda Penndorf, and her husband Jay of Danville, IN and Cindy Barnard, and her partner Lou Clark of Bloomington, IN. She will be missed by her nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Rose Marie Kuntz Gibbons. A celebration of her life will be conducted at her gravesite at 1:00 PM on Friday September 19, 2014 at Hamline Chapel Cemetery south of Monroe City, IN. The family will receive friends Thursday September 18, 2014 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to her family to assist in the expenses of her illness.
