Obituary for Vivian T. Bouvy Vivian T. Bouvy, 94, formerly of Vincennes, passed away at 10:36 pm Saturday May 26, 2012 at Manor Care Nursing Center in Avon, IN. She was born July 2, 1917 in Vincennes, the daughter of Dexter & Mabel Ruble Schmiedeskamp. She was a 1936 graduate of Lawrenceville High School and continued her education at St. Mary�s Hospital School of Nursing in Evansville. She married Robert J. Bouvy on August 12, 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1976. She formerly worked at the Good Samaritan Hospital and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for over 50 years. She was a member of the Altar Society and the K of C Auxiliary. She was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield. She is survived by her children, Robert J. Bouvy II, and his wife Sue of Green Valley, AZ, John C. Bouvy, and his wife Marina of Plainfield, IN and Marybeth Bouvy Allen of Kennesaw, GA. Her grandchildren, Gail Koerner, Sara Feltman, Kevin Bouvy, Keith Bouvy, Megan Allen, Christian Allen and Jake Bouvy. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and a sister in law, Hazel Schmiedeskamp of Hot Springs Village, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 2 brothers, Walden & Gilbert Schmiedeskamp and a sister Merna Schmiedeskamp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. David Martin officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home at 6th & Vigo St. where the recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM.
