Obituary for Wilfred F. Kramer Wilfred F. Kramer, 73, of Vincennes, passed away Saturday morning, December 10, 2011 at 9:00 AM with his family at his bedside. He was born May 19, 1938 in Vincennes, IN the son of Henry J. and Josephine Vieck Kramer. He was a graduate of St. Thomas Grade School and Central Catholic High School, on June 6, 1959, he married Patricia Cochran Kramer, and they made their lives together for 52 years. He was employed at the Knox County Hiway Dept for over 21 years and he had a love of farming that showed in his garden. He was a life long member of the St. Thomas community. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Patricia �Pat� Kramer, their children, Christina �Chris� Lafferty, and her husband Doug of Vincennes, Steve Kramer, and his wife Carolyn of Vincennes, Tom Kramer, and his wife Lynda of Sumner, IL and Nick Kramer of Vincennes. Their grandchildren, Eric Lafferty, and his wife Meghan, Jennifer Clinkenbeard, and her husband Matt, Emily Kramer, Erin Hall, David Hall, Thomas Kramer, Ellie Kramer, Rianna Kramer, Jordan Kramer and Jenna Kramer. Their great grandchildren, Kadie Lafferty, Henry Lafferty, Jackson Bowman, Aden Kramer and Reece Clinkenbeard. His brothers Robert Kramer of Vincennes and Richard �Pooch� Kramer of Vincennes. His sisters, Monica Carie of Vincennes, Anna Marie Lane of Decker, IN and Barbara Carie, and her husband Lawrence �Windy� of Effingham, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jerry Kramer in 1979, his brothers, Olan Kramer, Raymond Kramer, his sisters, Hilda McGowan, Adaline Carie, Rosella McCoy and his stepmother, Rosa Ruppel Green Kramer. A Gathering will begin Tuesday December 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home and followed by gravesite services at St. Thomas Cemetery with Deacon Earl Ruppel officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his son Jerry in the St. Thomas Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Good Samaritan Hospice or Good Samaritan Cancer Center.
