Obit for Almeda M. Miley Almeda M. Miley, 83, of Vincennes, passed away Friday April 17, 2026 at her residence. Almeda was born in Vincennes, Indiana the daughter of Clyde Alton and Aline Cummings. After graduation, she began her career in various fields having worked at Dollar General and as a childcare worker. She practiced her Christian faith daily when dealing with everyone she met. In April of 2001, she married Michael “Mike” Miley and they made their life together for 25 years. Almeda formerly held membership at the VFW Auxiliary, Moose Auxiliary and loved to go line dancing and karaoke. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Michael “Mike: Miley, children, Michael Wilson, Rick (Kristie) Wilson, Dean (Staci) McGuyer, Troy (Amy) Miley, Amanda Miley, Syanda Feist, Debbie Webb and Patty Carnahan, Keith (Laura) McGuyer, Ginger Miller and Candi Miller. Her grandchildren, Eric Wilson, Brittney Gibson, Lindsey Montgomery, Linsie Seger, Dirk McGuyer, Logan McGuyer, Scott Michael Miller, Tabatha Miller, Jennifer Miller, Autumn McGuyer, Samantha McGuyer and Cameron McGuyer. 16 great grandchildren and a brother, John Alton, also survive her. Almeda was proceeded in death by her parents, Shane Miley and her best friend Beverly Lamb. Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday April 21, 2026 at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home at 1:00 PM. Rev. Kevin Miley will officiate. She will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PMat the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to the Pet Port or the Moose Lodge.
