Obituary for Anna Lucille Cornelius Anna Lucille Cornelius, 75, formerly of Elnora, IN, passed away Sunday September 15, 2019 at Bridge Pointe Health Campus. Anna was born December 29, 1943 in Vincennes the daughter of Lloyd and Anna Like Helderman. She was a graduate of Fritchton High School and on June 9,1962 she married Jesse Ray Cornelius and they made their life together for almost 46 years until his death on April 16, 2008. She and her husband were over the road truck team drivers until their retirement. She loved the outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting and gardening. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Anna is survived by her son's Donald Ray Cornelius and his wife Robin of Decker, IN and Richard Lee Cornelius of Pensacola, FL. She is also survived by a brother, Jack Helderman, and his wife Connie of Spencer, IN, a sister, Roberta Evans of Monroe City, IN and a sister in law, Penny Helderman of Freelandville, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Ray, 5 brothers, Bill Helderman, Howard Helderman, Roger Helderman, Richard Helderman and Jerry Helderman. 2 sisters, Roberteen Ellerman and Rita Woolard also preceded. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday September 20, 2019 at 7:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel in Bicknell. The family will be friends from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel is honored to assist Anna's family during their time of loss.
