Bonnie D. Sorensen, 74 of Vincennes, IN, passed away Tuesday November 28, 2023 at Richland Bean Blossom Health Center. Bonnie was born May 6, 1949 in Vincennes the daughter of Jack and Norma Fiddler Turner. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and Vincennes University. She worked as a secretary in the Radiology Department of Good Samaritan Hospital where she retired. She held membership in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and formerly at 1st Church of God. She served her country in the U.S. Army having attained the rank of Staff Segarent. She was active with the Knox County Humane Society. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and she will be missed by her constant companion "Macadoo"

Bonnie is survived by daughters, her namesake, Bonnie Suzanne Corwin and her husband Christopher of Charlotte, NC and Amy Catherine Fesler and her husband Jonathon of Bloomington, IN. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Abigail Corwin and is expecting her second granddaughter, Gwen Fesler around Christmas and a brother, Jack Turner of Robinson, IL.

Funeral Services will be celebrated Monday December 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Fr. Tony Ernst officiating at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Knox County Humane Society. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist Bonnie' s family during their time of loss.
