Obituary for Calvin R. Lane Calvin R. Lane, 45, of Vincennes passed away on Tuesday October 21, 2014 at his residence. He was born March 21, 1969 in Vincennes the son of Thomas E. and Norma J. Obermeyer Lane. He was a 1987 graduate of Lincoln High School and attended Vincennes University. He and his father drove as tandem drivers for Fred Blaze Trucking and after an unexpected illness was forced to retire from trucking. He worked currently at Umfleet Guns and formerly at the Vincennes Pet Port. He is survived by his sister, Karen E. Beavers, and her husband Tony of Wadesville, IN, his neices and nephews, Jessica Mitchener, Megan Toothman, Tanner Clark and Shawna Clark. He is also survived by 6 great neices and nephews. A celebration of Calvin�s life will be celebrated Sunday October 26, 2014 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 To 4:00 PM with remembrance to be held at 4:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Vincennes Pet Port to care for the animals.
