Obituary for Carla J. Hartsburg Carla J. Hartsburg, 65, of Vincennes, passed away Saturday morning at University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Carla was born August 11, 1953 in Vincennes the daughter of Carl Hartsburg and R. Joan Reel Hartsburg. She worked as a hostess at various restaurants in Vincennes. Carla was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eagles and Moose Auxiliary. She is survived by her father, Carl Hartsburg of Vincennes, her companion, Ed Vachet of Vincennes and several cousins that she thought of as her brothers and sisters. Carla was preceded in death by her son Patrick S. Hartsburg and her mother, R. Joan Reel Hartsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday November 30, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Donald Ackerman officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her mother in the St. Vincent Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M until the time of services at the church. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Pet Port or the Knox Co. Humane Society. Duesterberg-Fredrick is honored to assist Carla's family.
