Christine Ann Thomas, 73, of Vincennes, passed away February 14, 2022 at her home. Christine was born April 24, 1948 the daughter of Alvin and Regina Ruppel Thomas. She was a graduate of St. Thomas grade school, 1966 graduate of St. Rose Academy, and Vincennes University. She worked for several years at Gilliatt and Thomas as head of fuel operations and continued with R&H Trucking. She also was employed with McCormick Trucking. She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and was active in various activities in the community. She married Mike Traylor and they made their life together for over 49 years. She is survived by Michael Traylor, a step daughter, Jennifer Simpson of West Palm Beach, FL, her sisters, Kem Thomas Lutz of Wilson, North Carolina her twin and Ann Steffen, and her husband Mike of Jasper, IN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Chris was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Chuck Thomas and a sister, Shirley Ray. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday February 20, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home where a service will be conducted at 2:00 PM.
