Obituary for Dakota Andrew Thomas Bruns Dakota Andrew Thomas Bruns, 20, passed away Sunday July 15, 2018. Dakota was born February 26, 1998 in Vincennes the son of Patricia "Trish" Porter Springfield and Andrew Bruns. He was a cook at Rally's and he attended North Knox and Lincoln High School. He is survived by his parents, Patricia "Trish" Springfield, and her husband John of Edwardsport, IN, and Andrew Bruns of Groveland, FL. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Dalton Bruns of Edwardsport, IN, Alicia Bruns of Edwardsport, IN, Alvia Bruns of Edwardsport, IN, Rafer Springfield of Phenix City, Alabama, Joshua Springfield of Vincennes, IN, his paternal grandfather, Andrew Bruns of Winter Park, Fl. His maternal grandparents, Tom and Elsie Porter of Edwardsport, IN. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Thursday July 19, 2018 at the New Life Holy Cathedral, 5th and Busseron streets with Pastor Antone Howard officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Edwardsport Town Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday at the church. After the service the family and friends will gather at the cemetery at 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the family.
