Obituary

Obituary for Diane Fortner Toth Diane Fortner Toth, 64, of Edinburgh, IN, passed away on August 14, 2019 at the St. Francis Hospice House with her family at her bedside. She was born on September 5, 1954 in Vincennes, IN the daughter of Paul and Maryann Orey Fortner. She and her husband Timothy owned and operated Cherokee Development. She enjoyed taking care of her family and her friends and especially enjoyed cooking for them. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She married Timothy Toth on April 22, 1983 and they made their life together for 31 years until his death in 2014. She is survived by her children, Dawn & Ryan Clark of Fairland, IN, Kristina & Luke Martin of Birmingham, AL, Matthew Toth and his wife Briana of Edinburgh, IN and Justin Toth also of Edinburgh, IN, grandchildren, Joy Martin, Ethan Martin, Ellie Martin, Jackson Clark and Alexandria Clark. She is also survived by her mother, Maryann Fortner of Vincennes, IN, her brother Michael Fortner of Newburg, IN and her sister Lynn Toth of Santa Claus, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband Timothy Toth and her father Paul Fortner. Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday August 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Fr. Tony Ernst officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 20, 2019 from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the St. Francis Hospice House, 8414 Franciscan Lane, Indianapolis, IN 46237.
