Obituary for Donald L. Ellermann Donald L. Ellermann, 76, of Vincennes, passed away Monday February 25, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Donnie was born November 1, 1942 in Vincennes the oldest son of Donald O. and Ruth Meyer Ellermann. He was a graduate of Decker High School and was a lifelong grain and watermelon farmer. He was a member of the Indiana Watermelon Assn. He was a lifelong member of the St. Peters Lutheran Church. He married Nancy Sanneman on November 19, 1966 and they made their life together for over 53 years. His is survived by his wife, Nancy S. Ellermann, their daughter, Carla Peters and her husband Waylon and their children, Whitney, Eric and Easton Peters. Their son, Cody Ellermann, and his wife Erica and their children, Leah, Caleb and Colten Ellermann. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert Ellermann, and his wife Cheryl and Larry Ellermann, and his wife Anita both of Vincennes. Funeral services will be conducted Friday March1, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Rastl officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contribution can be made in his memory to Deaconess Gateway Heart Group or the Welch Diabetes Center.
