Obituary for Dorothy R. Bonhomme Dorothy R. Bonhomme, 90, of Vincennes, passed away Monday March 29, 2021 at Gentlecare Nursing Center. Dorothy was born August 22, 1930 in Knox County the daughter of Ora D. and Myrl Taylor Blake. She was a housekeeper at area hotels and she married William Bonhomme Sr. and they made their life together for 37 years until his death on October 13, 2010. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church/St. Francis Xavier and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by a son, Joseph Foster, and his wife Barbara of Vincennes and a stepson, William Bonhomme Jr, and his wife Judy of Vincennes. Her grandchildren, Stacie Phillips and her husband James, Joseph Foster Jr and his wife Lisa, Step grandchildren, Holly Flaningam and her husband, Shawn and Chad Bonhomme M.D. and his wife, Christine Bonhomme M.D. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 3 brothers, Raymond, Pete and Buss Blake and 2 sisters, Millie Frye and Frieda Armstrong. Gravesite services will be conducted Thursday April 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Fr. Tony Ernst officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband.
