Obituary Edna M. Hess Edna M. Hess, 81, of Vincennes, IN passed away Thursday May 25, 2017 at 10:14 pm at I.U. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Edna was born July 15, 1935 in Knox County the daughter of Owen and Bessie Thompson Goldman. She was a graduate of Decker High School and she worked for many years at the ASCS Ag Services here in Vincennes. She married James K. Hess on January 17, 1959 and the made their life together until his death in 1972. Edna was a member of the Bunker Hill General Baptist Church and formerly was a member of St. Vincent Church. She is survived by her family, a daughter, Jamie Twitty, and her husband Rick of Vincennes, a grandson Evan Twitty and a sister Doris Gray, and her husband Robert of St. Francisville, IL. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Gary Hess in 1990, her parents and a sister, Jean McCain. Funeral services will be celebrated Wednesday May 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Pastor Jay Howder officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and son in the St. Vincent Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday May 30, 2017 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Bunker Hill General Baptist Church.
