Edward "Ed" Wagner, 79, of Vincennes, IN entered eternal life on Tuesday August 13, 2024 at his residence with his wife at his bedside. Ed was born January 24, 1945 in Loogootee, IN the son of Reason and Rose Mary Wagoner Wagner. He was a graduate of St. John Catholic High School and joined the U.S. Army. He served his country for over 5 years and began a career in the Insurance. He worked as an agent for Western/Southern Life Insurance and was an agent for State Farm Insurance for over 35 years in Vincennes, IN. He was dedicated to his clients through his career. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He married Susan Hopkins and they made their life together for 16 years. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and was involved in various community activities. In the later years he was a member of The Church of Victory.

Ed is survived by his wife, Susan Hopkins Wagner, a son Dennis Wagner of Indianapolis, IN, 3 Grandchildren and a sister, Judy Fuesler of Indianapolis, IN.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Laudermilk, a grandson Benjamin Wagner, his parents, 2 Brothers Tom Wagner and Michael Wagner and 2 sisters Sarah and Michael.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to The Church of Victory.
