Eleanor "Ella" Litherland, 86, of Vincennes passed away Thursday February 2, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Ella was born in Honolulu, HI on April 7, 1936 the daughter of Perfecto and Sally Marapo Cubero. She was one of 10 children and she graduated high school in Hawaii. She married Larry Litherland on February 21, 1959 and they made their life together until his death on June 3, 2017. Ella worked at Vincennes University in the bookstore until her retirement.

Her children survive her , Delbert Litherland and his wife Allison of Elwood, IN, Edward A. Litherland, and his wife Candi of Yuma, AZ, Ronald Litherland of Vincennes, IN, Deanna Cowin and her husband Brian of Tampa, FL, Rosemarie Morimoto of Kauai, HI, and Theresa Yadao, and her husband Junie of Kauai, HI. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, a brother, Eliseo Teano and his wife Delores of San Jose, CA, 2 sisters, Lolita Ventura of Maui, HI and Gloria McCoraty of Riverside, CA.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Litherland, her parents, Perfecto and Sally Cubero, a son, Sunshine Pablo, 2 brothers, Robert Ventura and Jerry Teano and 4 sisters, Geraldine Barchnea, Lorencia Mata, Beartice Yacapin and Florence Auguaughi.
