Obituary for Ellen Irene Crecelius Ellen Irene Crecelius, 68, of Bicknell, passed away December 9, 2021 at Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper, IN. Ellen was born August 28, 1953 in Vincennes, IN the daughter of Riley Eugene and Dorothy Emmons Arthur. She was a graduate of North Knox High School and Vincennes University where she received her degree in accounting. Ellen worked for over 30 years at Essex Wire in the payroll and accounting department. She attended the First Baptist Church in Bicknell and was formerly a member of the Moose Auxiliary. Ellen is survived by her brother, Michael L. Arthur, and his wife Ruth Ann of Vincennes, IN, a sister in law, Carla Arthur of Bicknell, IN and her nieces and nephews that she thought of as her own, Dereck Abel, Kindra Arnold, Brittany Crowder and Eric Arthur. She is also survived by her uncles, Ronald Arthur of Monroe City, IN, John Arthur of Bloomington, IN and Frank Arthur of Booneville, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Riley Eugene and Dorothy Arthur, a brother Mitchell Lee Arthur and 2 nephews, Aaron Arthur and Chad Arthur. Funeral services will be celebrated on Monday December 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Bicknell Memorial Mausoleum with Pastor Seth Alexander officiating. Entombment will follow the services. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM in the Bicknell Memorial Mausoleum Chapel.
