Obituary for Emma J. Curry Manning Emma J. Curry Manning, 81, of Vincennes, passed away Tuesday June 18, 2013 at the New Willow Manor Nursing Center with her family at her bedside. She was born April 21, 1932 in Knox County the daughter of Chester & Esther Bloebaum Curry. She married Joseph Manning and they made their life together until his death in 1986. They were active in the American Legion and VFW and she was a life member of the auxiliaries. She held membership in the St. John Lutheran Church and retired from Harold�s Supermarket where she worked in the Bakery Department. She is survived by her family, Pam Phalagi, and her husband Jeff of Emmett, Idaho, Joseph Manning, and his wife Diana of Vincennes and Raymond Manning, and his wife Jeannie of Vincennes, her grandchildren, Robbie Horton, Mark Horton, Mandy Siewers, Richard Manning, Micky Clark, Josh Walker, Mindy Leech and Jeremy Hartzburg. Her brothers and sisters, Ed Curry of Miami, FL, Wayne Curry of Phoenix, AZ, Carol Theriac of Westphalia, IN, Betty Doll, and her husband Ed of Monroe City, IN and Doris Parish of Evansville, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a sister Mary Archer and a brother, Chester Curry Jr. Gravesite services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday June 21, 2013 at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Ron Maxwell officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the American Legion Auxiliary. Services were entrusted to Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home.
