Obituary for E. Leroy King E. Leroy King, 63, of Bridgeport, IL passed away Thursday October 6, 2016 at 7:11 PM CST at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. He was born March 15, 1953 in Vincennes the son of Samuel and Carol Abel King. He was a graduate of North Knox High School and worked for Mayflower movers until he became disabled. He married Evelyn Shockey on September 16, 1988. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn King, of Bridgeport, IL, a step daughter, Regena Briscoe of Elletsville, AL, 3 grandchildren, his brothers, Clarence King, and his wife Lisa of Vincennes, IN, Jimmy King, and his wife Melody of Vincennes his sisters, Beth Evans, and her husband David of Vincennes and Mary Harsha, and her husband Mike of Sandborn, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Carol King and a brother Thomas King. Funeral services will be celebrated Monday October 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Harris and Pastor Alice Bline officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11: 00 AM until the time of service at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the family to assist with the expenses of his last illness.
