Obituary for Grace L. "Fear" Smith Grace Lenora "Fear" Smith, 87, of Vincennes passed away on Wednesday April 3, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born on September 13, 1931 in Newton, IL, the daughter of Wilbert and Velva Miller Smith. She worked as a cook in a private school and attended the Assembly of God church. She married Stewart Smith on December 25, 1961 and they made their life together for 42 years until his death on February 16, 2005. She is survived by her children, Patricia Sents of Vincennes IN, Denise Smith of Hawthorne, CA , Stewart I. Smith of Hawthorn CA, and Russell A. Smith of Vincennes IN. and 2 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Smith, a son, Stephen D. Smith, her parents, 2 brothers, Raymond Fear and Everett Fear, and her sister Juanita Spencer. A memorial gathering will be held at 12:00 Noon Monday April 8th at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
