Gregory A. "Bird" Earley, 61 of Vincennes, passed away November 1, 2022. Greg was born December 16, 1960 in Vincennes, the son of John W. and Marietta Steimel Earley. He was a graduate of North Knox High School and worked at Vincennes Steel as a welder. He attended St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and was a member of the Iron Workers Union. He enjoyed camping, fishing, doing anything outdoors and playing music being an accomplished guitarist.

Greg is survived by his mother, Marietta Earley, his brothers and sisters, David Earley and his wife Marsha of Carlisle, IN, Daniel Earley, and his wife Janet of Farmersburg, IN, Rick Earley, and his wife Cheryl of Oaktown, IN, Patricia Earley of Vincennes, IN, Donna Roberts and her husband Carl of Washington, IN, Gayle Kelly and her husband Jerry of Bicknell, IN and Nancy Gayle of Greenfield, IN.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, John W. Earley, a brother John Douglas Earley.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on November 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Tony Ernst officiating at Old Cathedral. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the donor's charity of choice. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist the Earley family during their time of loss.
