H. Robert “Bob” Westfall 76, of Vincennes passed away Tuesday October 6, 2026 at Sycamore Care with his family at his bedside. Bob was born February 16, 1950 in Vincennes, IN the son of Hugh T. and Geraldine Ruppel Westfall. He began his working career at Bierhaus wholesale for over 20 years and finished his working career with Toyota manufacturing. He married Lucinda “Cindy” Clauss and they made their life together for 43 years. Bob was a member of St. John Parish/St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, an active woodworker and just tinkering around the garage.
Bob is survived by his wife, Cindy Westfall, children, Tracy Johnstone, Angela Welton and Nicole Yochum. His grandchildren, Amber Marcum, Brenden Welton, Cameron Halter, Kenadee Welton, Haili Tokajer and Riley Johnstone. His great grandchildren, Blayne Welton, Esmae Jones, Bryson Welton, Oberyn Jones, Bostyn Welton and is expecting his 6th grandchild, Rubi Kraft in 3 weeks. He is also survived by a brother, Pastor John (Joveeh) Westfall and a sister, Susie (Danny) Crouch.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Marcum and his parents, Hugh and Geraldine Westfall.
A memorial service will be conducted Friday October 9, 2026 at 7:00 PM at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Pastor John Westfall officiating. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Vincennes Pet Port or the Humane Society. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until the time of services at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist Bob’s family during their time of loss
