Obituary for Helen Holt   Helen Holt, 87, of Thompsonville, IL, and formerly of Bicknell, died Tuesday, October 2, 2017, at 8:45 AM at Eldorado Rehab and Healthcare in Eldorado, IL following an extended illness. Helen was born to Namon and Floreen Wilson on May 27, 1930 in Madisonville, Kentucky.  She married Earl Holt of Bicknell on November 13, 1948 and they made their life together for 44 years until his death on October 14, 1992. Helen is survived by 3 daughters, Evelyn Holt-Otten (Eugene) of Bicknell, Mary Riggle (Danny), of Vincennes, Jean Stevens (Ron) of Thompsonville, IL, and 1 son, David Holt (Becky) of Bicknell.  Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Holt, a daughter, Janet Carrington, a great granddaughter, Vanessa Riggle, her parents. Funeral services will be celebrated Saturday October 7, 2017 at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Matt Hoffman officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM to time of services, at Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel in Bicknell.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Bicknell Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the donor's charity of choice.
