Obituary for Janice R. Alderton Janice R. Alderton, 73, of Vincennes, passed away on June 10, 2018, at Willow Manor. She was born on November 4, 1944 in Frostburg, Maryland, the daughter of Thomas and Mage Steele. She worked the last 18 years as a CNA at Good Samaritan Hospital where she thoroughly enjoyed and dearly loved her patients an co-workers. On her days off she also loved to read. She is survived by her daughter Tracey Alderton of Vincennes, her son Mike Alderton and his wife Jessica of Vincennes. Her grandchildren Ryan Page, Taylor Alderton , Logan Alderton and Morgan Alderton all of Vincennes. The Family wishes to thank all of those that cared for her over the last 7 years of her life. The Good Samaritan Hospital ICU and Medical Floor, Willow Manor and a special Thank You to Good Samaritan Hospice and RN Sommer Phipps whom she loved dearly. As per her request, Janice will be cremated and private services will be held at a later date. It was Janice's wish that memorial contributions can be made in her memory to LAM House to continue to help people struggling with addiction.
