Joellen "Doyle" Horne, 59, of Vincennes, passed away Sunday January 21, 2024 at Bridgepointe Health Campus. Joellen was born July 26, 1964 in Vincennes the daughter of Jerry and Judy Becher Doyle. She was a 1982 graduate of South Knox High School where she participated in Basketball, excelled at Softball and Volleyball. She was a graduate of Vincennes University receiving an A.S. Degree in business administration. She worked for over 30 years as a secretary at Vincennes University in the Music and Performing Arts Department and Red Skelton Performing Arts Center. She enjoyed being with her family and the productions at Vincennes University.

Joellen is survived by her husband, Graham Horne, her parents, Jerry and Judy Doyle, her brother, Tom Doyle and his wife Jennifer of Evansville, and her niece, Lily Burke. She will be missed by her family of friends at V.U.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday January 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Ernst officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 AM to the time of service at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Vincennes University Red Skelton Performing Arts Center.
