Obituary for John David Payne John David Payne, 72, of Bicknell, IN, passed away Sunday June 24, 2018 in Washington at the Prairie Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. John David was born April 4, 1946 in Bicknell, IN the son of Millard and Snowful Riggle Payne. John David was a graduate of North Knox High School and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a laborer in the construction industry. He is survived by a son, Kyle Payne of Bloomington, IN, brothers, Daniel Payne of Bicknell, IN, Charles W. Payne of Westphalia, IN, his sisters Ardella Smith of Vincennes, IN, Betty Racey of Bicknell, IN, Ruth Bryant of Jacksonville, FL, Zuella Stremming of Petersburg, IN and Carolyn Payne of Vincennes, IN. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Arthur Payne and a sister JoAnn Rall. Services will be held Thursday June 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Bicknell Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum with Pastor Jon McKinnon officiating. He will be entombed following the service. Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel was honored to assist John David with his final arrangements.
