Obituary

Judy A. Jobe, 82, of Vincennes passed at her home Thursday June 20, 2024. Judy was born June 18, 1942 in Vincennes, IN the daughter of James F. and Helen Bateman Jobe. She attended Lincoln High School and was a devout Catholic and a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoy being with her family and taking care of Shiloh, her Siberian husky.

She is survived by her children, Kim Catt, Karen Ivers, Brian Boger and Brent R. Boger all of Vincennes. Her grandchildren, Nikki Woodall, David Holland, Brittany Campbell, Josh Ivers, Bradley Lunsford, Shelby Boger, Griffin Major, Evan Major, Kaiden Boger-Major and 17 great grandchildren. Her sisters, Patricia Parker-Zaikovsky of Terre Haute, IN and Pam Steininger of Vincennes also survive. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by a son, Bernie Ivers, a grandson, Dillon Boger, her parents, a brother, James Jobe and her brothers in law, Chris Steininger and Rick Zaikovsky.

Funeral services will be celebrated Wednesday June 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Fr. Tony Ernst officiating. She will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery next to her son Bernie Ivers. The family will receive friends Tuesday June 25, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist Judy's family during their time of loss.
