Obituary for Lora F. Smith Lora F. Smith, 71, of Vincennes passed away Tuesday December 7, 2021 at Willow Manor Nursing Center. Lora was born March 18, 1950 in Vincennes, the daughter of Gilbert H. Daugherity and Dorothy Seals Lee. She was a homemaker and was a Christian who practiced her faith by her kindness to everyone she met. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her family, Shane Smith of Wheatland, IN, Julie Ramirez and her husband Jorge of Vincennes, IN, Christa Howder and her husband T.J. of Dayton, IN and Megan Smith of Vincennes, IN. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, her brother, Gilbert H. "Gibby" Daugherity II of Vincennes, IN, sisters, Donna Shipley of New Lexington, OH, Pam Clymer, and her husband Gary of Oaktown, IN, Lyne Daugherity of Sandusky, OH, and Barbara Franz of Vincennes, IN. Lora was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Janet Benoit. Funeral Services will be held Friday December 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jay Howder officiating at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest privately in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the donor's charity of choice.
