Obituary for Marie Solange Surpris Marie Solange Surpris, 61. of Washington, IN, passed away November 30, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN. Marie was born Jan 21, 1960 in Au-Cays, Haiti the daughter of Raphael and Jamette Milot Surprius. She formerly owned and operated several retail businesses and was a devoted mother, sister and friend. Marie is survived by her children, Majodwige Sajous of Port Au Prince, Haiti, Mislie Sajous of Las Americas, Dominican Republic, Holguens L. Philippe of Washington, IN, Juvena Philippe of Clarkston, GA, and Woodley Destine of Las Americas, Dominican Republic. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, Dieusel Surprius of Boston, MD, Jean Thony Surpris of West Palm Beach, FL, Vanante Milord of Port Au Prince, Haiti, Hermite Surprius of Boston, MD, Micheline Surprius, Las Americas, Clelita Surprius of Port Au Prince, Haiti and Marie Noemi Surprius of New York, New York . Funeral services will be celebrated Saturday December 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with her nephew, Pastor Jean Ferdile Surprius officiating. She will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM.
