Obituary for Mary Margaret Cornelison Mary Margaret Cornelison went home to the Lord on October 20th. She was born on November 18, 1934, in Wheatland to Bertha (Wise) and Irval Fletcher.  She graduated from Wheatland High School and cosmetology school in Indianapolis.  She married the love of her life, Allen Cornelison, on July 15, 1955. Margie loved her family very much.  She was active in her church and enjoyed baking and camping.   She worked as a hairdresser for more than forty years.  She was a resident of Wheatland and a member of the Wheatland United Methodist Church for more than sixty-five years. Margie is survived by her children: son Patrick Cornelison and his wife Pam of Charlestown, daughter Sue Ann Steinmetz and her husband Don of Fort Branch, daughter Julie Edwards and her husband Michael of Monroe City.  She is also survived by her brother Jerry (Perry) Fletcher. She is predeceased by her husband Allen Cornelison, her brothers Charles (Helen) Fletcher, Jack (Marilyn) Fletcher, Warren (Ruth) Fletcher, Dean (Dottie) Fletcher, and her sisters Lena (Gene) Robinson, Betty (Junior) Sutton, and Joyce (Tom) Bohnert.  She has eleven grandchildren: Nicole Eolee, Matthew O'Neil, Andrea Cornelison, Sam Steinmetz, Alec Steinmetz, Gabe Steinmetz, Drew Steinmetz, Lauren Fitch, Kennedy Edwards, Cora Edwards, and Knox Edwards. Funeral services will be celebrated Saturday October 24, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Wheatland United Methodist Church with Pastor Jarrod Chattin officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Wheatland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margie's name to the Wheatland United Methodist Church.
