Mary Jane "Beaman" Soltwedel, 69 of Vincennes, passed away Tuesday March 21, 2023 at her home with her family at her bedside. Mary Jane was born February 9, 1954 in Vincennes the daughter of Paul W. Beaman and Rita Doll Beaman. She was a 1973 graduate of Rivet High School and she worked for many years at Vincennes University with Sodexo. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and she married Dennis Soltwedel on May 26, 1998 and they made their life together for nearly 25 years. Mary Jane was devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed anything to do with her family and collecting brass with her husband Dennis.

Mary Jane is survived by her husband, Dennis Soltwedel, children, Jennifer Ravellette Barrett, and her husband Ryan of Brownsburg, IN, Becca Ravellette of Newburgh, IN and Dennis Soltwedel II and his wife Ann Marie of Quartz Hills, CA. Her grandchildren, Gage Barrett and Lilly Ravellette, Caleb Soltwedel and Cayden Soltwedel. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Nora Fraze, and her husband Tom of Collinsville, IL, Fred Beaman, and his wife Anita of Foley, AL, Paula McKim of Lawrenceville, IL, Mike Beaman, and his wife Julie of Vincennes and Don Beaman, and his wife Cindy of Vincennes, IN. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Garrett Braun officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday March 24, 2023 at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to Vincennes Pet Port or the donor's charity of choice.
