Obituary for Sherry M. Archer Sherry M. Archer, 71, of Vincennes, passed away Wednesday June 8, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born September 4, 1944 in Washington, IN the daughter of George A. �Bud� and Norma Faye Dickey Miller. She was a graduate of Bicknell High School and on June 3, 1962 she married Jimmie E. Archer and they made their life together for 49 years until his death on August 19, 2011. Sherry was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother and homemaker. She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Archer Coffman of Vincennes, her grandson, Joshua Aaron Coffman, and his wife Autumn of Vincennes, and her great granddaughter, Kaidance Nicole Coffman. She is also survived by a brother, Jerry J. Miller, and his wife Betty of Bicknell, IN. Her sisters in law, Sue Roberson of Bicknell and Vickie Hergert, and her husband Gordon of Granite City, IL. She will be missed by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie E. Archer and her son, Jimmie D. Archer and her parents. Funeral services will be celebrated Wednesday June 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Pastor Jon McKinnon officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery next to her husband. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 PM Tuesday June 14, 2016 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home.
