Obituary for Phyllis Anne (Eisenhut) McCoy Phyllis Anne (Eisenhut) McCoy, 71, of Vincennes, IN, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at her home. Phyllis was born in Vincennes, IN, on July 28, 1942 the daughter of Estes and Martha Rufus Eisenhut. On October 20, 1962 she married Sylvester �Junior� McCoy and they made their life together for over 51 years. She was devoted to he family and centered her world around her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Bethlehem General Baptist Church and she and her husband owned McCoy�s Grocery and Deli. She formerly worked at McCormick INS Trucking as a bookkeeper, Hertz IGA and Harold�s Grocery. She is survived by her husband, Sylvester A. �Junior� McCoy, children, daughters Lisa Cates of Newburgh, IN and Kim Huber and her husband Sid of Vincennes, son�s, Allen McCoy of Vincennes and Greg McCoy, and his wife Amy of Vincennes, IN. 14 Grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren. Her sisters, Donna Thomas of Vincennes, Jeanette Cullop, and her husband Ted of Bicknell, IN, and Lois Dunn, and her husband Austin of Mattoon, IL. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews. A gathering for family and friends will by Sunday April 20, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Funeral Services being conducted Monday April 21, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Ron Barnes officiating. She will be laid to rest in the McCoy Oak Leaf #2 Cemetery near Monroe City, IN. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or the Good Samaritan Hospital Welch Diabetes Center.
