Obituary for Betty L. Early Reed Betty L. Early Reed, 85, of Vincennes, passed away Thursday morning at 5:14 AM at the Good Samaritan Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was born August 18, 1929 the daughter of Norman �Slim� and Jeannie �Kate� Chaney Early. She was a 1946 graduate of Lincoln High School and she married Morris Reed in January 1950 and they made their life together until his death on January 2, 1997. She retired from the Sears Catalog Store and she currently worked at the Wal Mart for over 21 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed her outings to Aztar, French Lick and Tunica with her family and friends. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Miller, and her husband Robert of Sullivan, IN, her grandchildren, Rob Miller, Susan Adkinson and Holly Dubree. Her great grandchildren, Jordan Adkinson, Justin Adkinson, Jayme Adkinson, Austin Dubree, Kaylee Dubree, Javin Dubree, Lola Miller, Sadie Miller and Robbie Miller. Funeral services will be celebrated Monday March 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Bedwell officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
