Obituary for Dorothy L. (Hunckler) Bilskie Dorothy L. (Hunckler) Bilskie, 78, of Vincennes, passed away Wednesday November 16, 2011 at 6:15 AM at the Gentle Care Nursing Center. She was born February 18, 1933 in Vincennes the daughter of Louis & Josephine Cabasier Hunckler. She was a graduate of St. Rose Academy and on April 21, 1954 she married Paul W. Bilskie and they made their life together for 52 years until his death in 2007. She was a member of the Old Cathedral, she formerly worked at 1st Federal and was a real estate representative with Advantage Real Estate. She held memberships in Civitan, the American Legion & 40 et 8 Auxiliaries�, the Lawrenceville Rod and Gun Club. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed anything to do with her family, playing cards and bowling with her sisters. She is survived by her children, Victor Bilskie, and his wife, Nancy of Lawrenceville, Dennis Bilskie, and his wife Ruth of Winter Springs, FL, Alan Bilskie, and his wife Robin of Harrisburg, NC, Wayne Bilskie, and his wife Pam of Mt. Vernon, IN, Terry Bilskie, and his wife Jeannie of Evansville, IN and Larry Bilskie, and his wife Peggy of Winter Springs, FL. 20 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, her sisters, Rita Brown of Washington, IN, Vera Allagree of Bridgeport, IL, Marilyn Prather of Palm Harbor, FL, Nancy Ditsler of The Villages, FL . She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Bilskie, her parents, 3 brothers, Norman, James and John Hunckler and 5 sisters, Norma Herr, Emily Dowbak, Ann Troutman, Shirley Cardinal and Ola Kramer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday November 19, 2011 at 1:30 pm at the Old Cathedral Church. Fr. John Schipp will officiate. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm Friday at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Gentle Care Nursing Center or Alzheimer�s Foundation. Online condolences can be made at duesterbergfredrick.com
