Obituary for Patricia A. Goff
Patricia A. Goff, 76, of Vincennes, passed away February 19, 2017 at 6:45 pm at the Willow Manor Nursing Center with her family at her bedside. Patricia was born May 31, 1940 in Charlestown, IN the daughter of Howard E. “Shorty” and Mary Ellen Price Goforth. She was a 1958 graduate of Oaktown High School and worked for over 25 years as a central service tech at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She attended the Bethlehem General Baptist Church and was a registered certified central service technician. She was an avid birdwatcher and she collected Elvis and Dale Earnhart memorabilia. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her son’s, Rick Goff and his wife Nancy of Vincennes, Ron Goff and his wife, Virginia of Vincennes and Mike Goff of St. Cloud, FL. Her grandchildren, Melody and Mark Stavrakis, Lori and Larry Goodwin, Michele and Troy Owen, Brooke Berry and Justin, Tyler and Samone Goff, and Josh and Sarah Berry. Her great grandchildren, Drew, Jacob Madalyn, Cora, Madison, Alora, Payton, Lexi, Triston, Javen, Brenton and Mason. A brother, Donald E. Goforth, and his wife Rose of Vincennes, IN and two nieces and nephew also survive.
Funeral services will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday February 23, 2017 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Rev. Cheryl Garbe officiating. She will be laid to rest with her parents in the Oaktown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM Wednesday February 22, 2017 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Donor’s charity of choice.
