Obituary for Carol Sue "Bailey" Studler
Carol Sue (Bailey) Studler, 79, of Vincennes, passed away Friday July 22, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Suzie was born June 28, 1943 in Vincennes the daughter of Thomas and Rose Morgan Bailey. She was a graduate of St. Rose Academy and she was formerly married to Philip Studler Sr. She worked at Vincennes University in the commissary for over 32 years where she was a union steward with Teamsters Local 135 for the food service department. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, former member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Harmony Society, she enjoyed playing Bunko and was involved with CB Radio having the handle as “Short Stuff”

Suzie is survived by her children, Philip Studler Jr, and his wife Marilou of Dayton, OH and Linda Reynolds, and her husband Lester of Vincennes, IN. Her partner thru life, William J. Samm, her grandchildren known as “GG”, Jason Reynolds, Lezlee Reynolds and Louie Studler. Her great grandchildren, Breanna Martin, Phebe Reynolds, Aubrey Martin, Kolten Reynolds, Blaine Reynolds and Ederick Martin. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Tom Bailey, and his wife Maxine of St. Louis, MO, Jack Bailey, and his wife Diane of Vincennes, IN, Bob Bailey, and his wife Barbara of Atlanta, GA, Ann Taylor, and her husband Jim of Vincennes, IN, Bill Bailey, and his wife Ann of Carmi, IL and Karen Kays, and her husband Mark of Vincennes, IN.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Studler, her parents, Tom and Rose Bailey, a brother, Tony Bailey and a sister Barbara Burton.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday July 29, 2022 at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home where there will be a service held at 6:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to the Red Skelton Center % Vincennes University. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist Carol Sue’s family during their time of loss.
