Obituary for Sandra "Sandy" Kidwell
Sandra "Sandy" Kidwell, 67, of Vincennes, IN, passed away Friday October 28, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Hospital with her family at her bedside. Sandy was born November 10, 1954 in Vincennes the daughter of Dale A. and Loretta Harper Boyer. She was a 1972 graduate of Lincoln High School, she married Dennis W. Kidwell on November 12, 1972, and they made their life together for nearly 50 years. Sandy formerly worked at K-Mart as a service advisor and her last employment was with Jay C's foods. She was a Christian in her daily life and was a member of the Moose Auxiliary 779 in Lawrenceville, IL. She enjoyed playing in golf scrambles with her husband, loved animals, especially her cats. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Dennis W. Kidwell, their daughters, April Thomas, and her husband Charlie of Fishers, IN, Kelly Coan, and her husband Christopher of Vincennes, IN and Ahlieah Lee, and her husband Travis of Upland, CA. Her grandchildren, Charley Klaiber, Molly Crabtree, Grace Harding, Mackenzi Lee, Alijah Ann Coan and Trinity Coan. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Beau Hart, Elijah Crabtree, Andrew Klaiber and Oliver Crabtree expected in January of 2023, her brother, Dale Boyer and his wife Carol of St. Mary’s, GA and a sister, Linda France, and her husband Jim of Vincennes, IN.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted Wednesday November 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Baker officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 1, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home and prior to the services on Wednesday. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist the Kidwell family during their time of loss.
