Obituary for William Peter Joseph
William Peter Joseph, 80, of Pinehurst, NC, passed away February 27, 2023. William was born January 13, 1943 in Mt. Carmel, PA the son of William and Josephine Joseph. He married Nancy Ann O'Brien and they made their life together until her death on Feb 28, 2011. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Navy for 10 Years. Bill then worked for over 38 years for Litton/Northrop Grumman as a program director. Together Bill and Nancy enjoyed cruises, art, traveling and being with family and friends. He held memberships in the Elks Lodge, American Legion and VFW in Thousand Oaks, CA.
He is survived by sons Tony Selm and his wife Lisa, Royce Taylor and his wife Alissa, a daughter, Rose Marie Barrington, his grandchildren and their families, Linn and John Paul, Kaley and Chase Pfohl, Ashley and Micah Davis, Preston and Brittney Taylor, his great grandchildren, Kaycee and Jay Tilley, Skyler Paul, Colby Paul, Landon Paul, Jewell Paul, Penelope Pfohl, June, Henry, Wallace and Daphne Davis, Cali, Grant, Tucker and Russel Taylor, and his great-great grandchild Jaycee Tilley, A niece Kim Gooding, nephew, Russel Joseph and a great niece, Christina Tiano.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Ann Joseph, his parents William and Josephine Joseph, and his brothers, Robert and Ronald Joseph.
A memorial service will be celebrated Saturday March 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in Tower 1 Mausoleum in Memorial Park Cemetery. The All Weather Firing Squad will conduct military Honors. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
