Obituary for Ann E. (Heinz) Seger
Ann E. (Heinz) Seger, of Vincennes, passed away July 7, 2023 at Willow Manor Health with her family at her bedside. Ann was born in Springfield, IL the daughter of Robert (Bob) and Catherine "Katie" Horrall Heinz. She was a graduate of St. Rose Academy and Vincennes University and began her career working for U.S. Bureau of Mines, Safety and Health retiring after several years of service. She married Roger Seger and they made their life together for 34 years. Ann was a member of St. John/St Francis Xavier Catholic Church and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Ann is survived by her husband, Roger Seger, daughters, Heather Hennon of Vincennes and Lauren Seger White, and her husband Chad of Indianapolis, IN. Her grandchildren, Mahlia Marks, Jaliah Patterson and Amara Hennon, her great grandchildren, Avianna Marks, Maxson Duncan and Joelan Patterson. She is also survived by a brother, Greg Heinz, and his wife Mary Ann of New Melle, MO.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Katie Heinz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday July 14, 2023 at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Ernst officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday July 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Helping His Hands at the funeral home.
