Obituary for Virginia “Jen” Abluton
Virginia (Jen) Abluton 96, went to be with her loved ones on Monday February 25th 2019. Jen was born on July 29th 1922 to the late William and Emma (Bline) Cline. Jenny’s greatest love was cooking for and spending time with her family. She was very loved and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her grandchildren Steve Gott and Melanie Gott Robinson, great
grandchildren Tonya Donaldson and her husband, Richard and Jacob Self and his wife Amber, her great-great grandchildren Brooklyn, Canaan, Colsen and Camden. She is further survived by her Step son Ron Abluton and nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and very special great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Abluton, her daughter and son in law, Sherry and Ted Gott, a great granddaughter, Kaylie Self, Her parents, 5 brothers, Carl Cline, John Cline, Ralph Cline, Norman Cline and Max Cline, 4 sisters, Helen Cline, Lorene Cooper, Ann Cofer and a sister in infancy also preceded her in death.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday March 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Maple Dale Cemetery in Olney, IL privately. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the donor’s charity of choice.
