Obituary for Rickie Lee Fields
Rickie Lee Fields, 69, of Vincennes, passed away Thursday July 3, 2025 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Rickie was born May 6, 1956 in Vincennes the son of Jackie and Sondra Snider Fields. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in the 101st Airborne Division. He worked as a farmer in Hurdland, MO. He moved back to Vincennes and worked at various jobs. He was a member of the Church on the Street.
He is survived by his children, Kelly Jo Fields of Quincey, IL and Trevor Fields of Kirksville, MO. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 3 sisters Pam Boldrey, Linda Fields and Gayla Fields. His ex-wife Bonnie Frye of Vincennes saw to his care and wellbeing.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday July 12, 2025 at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Dale Marchino officiating. Friends may gather from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist Rickie’s family during their time of loss.
