Obituary for Linda C. Lane
Linda C. Lane, 78, of Vincennes, passed away September 12, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Hospital at 1:30 AM. She was born October 21, 1940  the daughter of Claude & Olivia DeBuisseret Lane. She was a graduate of Vincennes University and attended Indiana State University. She worked as an Administrative Assistant with the Federal Government. She was a member of the Old Cathedral Catholic Church and was devoted to both her family and the church. She was a loving aunt and beloved by her nephews and nieces.
She is survived by her nephews Michael Eskew, Mark Eskew, James Eskew, Paul Eskew, Charlene Farrow, Loretta Cox, Claudia Pickard, Marilyn Sollars, Olivia Kuchefski, Cathy Jones, Francis Lane, Joseph Lane, Stephen Lane, Ann Perryman, Paulette Jones, Richard Lane and Roger Lane. Â
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude & Olivia Lane, three brothers, Joseph Lane, Francis Lane and Paul Lane, two sisters, Mary Jo Eskew and Thelma Richardville. She was also preceded by a niece and nephew, Bonnie Lane and David Lane.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM Tuesday September 17, 2019 at the Old Cathedral Catholic Church with Fr. John Schipp officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her family in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday September 17, 2019 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Old Cathedral Maintenance. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist Linda Lane’s family during their time of loss.
